This is a short video addressing Article 2 of the Human Rights Declaration. Article 2 states that everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Yet, in today’s world, people are still being discriminated upon their skin colour, religion and social origin, and this is particularly true in the workplace. Our group wishes to raise awareness of the prejudice caused when discriminating someone at a job interview based on the race, religion and nationality. We wish to convey the message that discriminating because of a characteristic one has leads to nowhere good.
